African Safari Club Nile Cruises – Clear Pricing Policy
Feb 21st
With so many Nile Cruise vessels sailing the River Nile, you may think where to start when selecting a cruise vessel that best suits your needs. Part of your decision process will most probably start with your budget. When choosing a Nile Cruise many people will be tempted by the ‘bargain’ deals that are often publicised. However, It’s worth bearing in mind that many operators charge for excursions (up to £100pp for 10 excursions), Fuel surcharge (up to £40pp) and transfers (normally £5pp). So, although the lead in price is very low, these hidden charges mean that the final cost of your Nile Cruise is much higher.
Don’t fear though there are some operators that don’t choose to use this type of marketing and African Safari Club is one of these. Their nile cruise vessels the M.S. Fleurette and the M.S. Da Vinci offer great value for money as with the African Safari Club clear pricing policy means that the prices displayed will be the price you pay for your Nile Cruise. With no hidden extras! (apart from incidentals like your personal purchases and tips)
So the £509 per person price (discounted from £699) for a weeks nile cruise aboard the M.S. Fleurette on the 9th May is the price you will pay when booking.
For more information or to make a booking please call us on 01252 549695 and we will be happy to discuss your options.

Luxor is back on the map……
Feb 19th
Luxor as a tourist destination is back on the map following the Foreign and Commonwealth Office lifting the restriction on ‘non essential’ travel to the popular Nile cruise starting point of Luxor and home to many of the Egyptian must see sights.
The FCO have said that due to the area remaining consistently calm throughout the political unrest they are no longer advising against non essential travel to Luxor.
Discover Egypt and African Safari Club have announced that their Nile Cruises will commence from February 28th and there are some great offers to take advantage of.
Nile Cruise ships such as M.S Fleurett, M.S. Da Vinci, Viking Princess and Royal Viking are ready and waiting in Luxor to take passengers to ports such as Esna, Aswan and Kom Ombo.
Call us on 01252 549695 to discuss what Nile Cruise would suit you. With prices as low as £439 on the M.S Da Vinci there is never a better time to expore this fabulous country and its treasures.

New Year, New Adventures….
Jan 6th
With the temperatures dropping yet again all over the UK, there has never been a better time to think about booking a winter sun holiday to Egypt.
There are numerous options open to you but in our opinion whatever you decide a Nile Cruise should be on the top of your list. You are able to take just a seven night Nile cruise sailing from Luxor to Aswan to see the famous Aswan High Dam and then sail back to Luxor with calls at Esna, Edfu, and Kom Ombo. See famous known Egyptian sights such as The Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, The Colossi of Memnon, Temple of Horus and the Philae Temple. You are even able to take a day excursion to Abu Simbel on the banks of Lake Nasser.
If a Nile cruise is something not on the agenda but some winter sun is then why not simply take a holiday to one of Egypt’s Red Sea resorts such as El Gouna, Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh.
For those more adventurous then you can combine a river Nile cruise and a stay in a red sea resort. Even a stop over in Cairo is possible to be able to say that you have seen all that Egypt has to offer.
Both the operators Discover Egypt and African Safari Club are able to offer these options, They operate a number of vessels that sail on the river Nile that are recognised with affection by returning guests year on year.
